If you have made a Website, chances are you are looking for a quick, simple way to get a good search engine ranking in Google. If you have been looking for any amount of time, you will likely already know there is no simple way to get high rankings without paying a high fortune. That being said, with a little time and effort there are some pretty simple things you can do to increase your rankings without spending a Pretty Penny! Here are just some of the ways you can use to get a higher Google Search Engine Ranking.

1st Step – Do your Keyword Research

Research is probably a word that doesn’t sound like a whole lot of fun to anyone, but I am afraid it is absolutely crucial. You can use some of Google’s own tools to do some of your own Keyword research, such as Google Adwords Keyword Tool. This tool allows you to see suggested Keywords and how many searches are done on that keyword every month. This will help you be sure you are not using a Keyword that is high competition, and therefor likely impossible for you to get a high ranking with.

Second Step – Social Bookmarking

This step can be pretty fast. Sign up for a Social Bookmarking account at Onlywire and create profiles on all the Bookmarking sites listed there. Then you can submit pages of your site to all of the Social Bookmarking sites at once. This creates a ton of backlinks that are linking back to your site, thus giving you a High Search Engine Ranking. Be sure to link more to your index page than the rest of your pages on the site.

Third Step – RSS Submission

If you don’t know what an RSS feed is or how good it can be at getting a high Search Engine ranking, then I recommend you do some research about it on Google. Once you know a little about it, you will want to find RSS submission sites, such as MillionRSS, and submit your RSS feeds to the directory and give millions of people direct access to your RSS feed and site.

If you follow these steps you will be well on your way to getting a High Search Engine Ranking and making some good money with whatever product you are selling on your site.
