One of the biggest mistakes we see in the article marketing arena is the way resource boxes are constructed. At Portal Feeder 3.0 we have plenty of training on article marketing and one of the areas we stress people need to get right is the resource box.

It’s a pity to see someone create a great title and a good piece of content only to virtually drive the visitor away with a lame resource box.

Something like this…”My name is Fred Smith and I am an expert in throwing tomatoes. I have had years of experience doing it blah, blah, blah.”

Pretty lame isn’t it. But don’t worry. I was making the exact same mistake not long ago until virtually grabbed by the “scruff of the neck” and told to STOP!

Portal Feeder 3.0 Resource Box Secrets

The technique we are about to show you can be difficult to master however, with plenty of practice it becomes second nature. There is little doubt if you are struggling to get people to click through to your sites then it’s a fair chance the resource box is a major issue.

The key to a great resource box is to create curiosity. It then continues within the article and by the time the reader gets to the end, their curiosity has been peaked to such an extent that a slight prompt within the resource box will be all it takes to get them to click through to your site or offer.

Curiosity killed the cat but please don’t be killing your readers! Don’t give them an anti climax by introducing the resource box as we showed above. Let’s use something from the world of greyhound racing.

Article Marketing Secrets From Portal Feeder 3.0

Let’s say the article was about how much money you can earn as a greyhound owner. So your resource box would then read something like this:

“Do you know it takes a greyhound at least 16 months before they are ready to race? Shortcut your waiting time by buying a ready to race dog…”

You’ve whetted their appetite by showing them how profitable it can be and then you’ve dampened their spirits by telling them they will have to wait 16 months before they can experience the thrill of an owner.

Then you solve the problem you manufactured with a solid solution. One thing is for sure, this can literally send your clickthroughs into orbit. We promise!

The Portal Feeder 3.0 doors will be opening again soon. For more great tips like the one above make sure to get on the Portal Feeder sign up list right now so you don’t “miss the bus.”
